This only seems to happen with my 16 month old! She will be falling over herself with exhaustion. I lay her down and after 10-20 minutes of rolling around she's off the walls wired. It always ends in me getting her up and trying again after an hour or two, which stinks. I need time to myself, kid! And listening to her screech in her crib isn't exactly relaxing 🙄

Blake gets hyper after bath time, but settles down easily for actual bedtime.

Every night lately. She gets super wired and starts jumping on the bed and being crazy as I'm trying to get her to wind down. It's super annoying.

Yep, and it always means we missed his window and has ventured into overtired land. We work really hard to not let him get to that point, because when he does his sleep goes to hell for the night.

Only if we push bedtime too late. It's a sign bedtime needs to be earlier!

Sometimes he'll seem like he's fine and then start sobbing over something silly and then we know he really is tired. But the bedtime crying is the reason I always want to have a space in the house where I can't hear my kid. Because it definitely is not relaxing and just makes me mad.
