Why do you give them one?
My pediatrician has never recommended we give our lo one so, we don't.

Xander gets a calcium supplement because he's allergic to milk and doesn't drink enough hemp milk or have enough almond yogurt. We give him L'il Critters Calcium + D3 gummies.

Yes he gets a dose of vitamin D most nights, and some flax oil with DHA most days. He nurses for most of his milk, so we can't rely on fortified milk for his D and we live in a very northern area. We all take D!

No. Our LO is a pretty good eater (in terms of variety at least) so our ped said not to worry about it.

My toddler does. Her ped recommended it after her 2.5 year visit. I stopped vitamin D for the baby this summer when she was six months and getting lots of vitamin D otherwise.

My LO sees a nutritionist monthly through early intervention, and she recommended vitamin D, too. He's pretty good eater in terms of variety, so she thought that was the only thing he needed. We do live in the north though, so it might be different if we lived somewhere where it was sunny all the time.

Babies are on a multivitamin, Poly Vi Sol with Iron. Babies were on it in the nicu and Ped recommended we stay on it.

We do a b-12 spray once a week. Iron each day (liquid, she likes it off the spoon). "Fish oil" a few times a week. And a probiotic chewable each night. I really need to be better about Vit D, since we're in the NW, but I do try to give her a drop every few days or so.

No, I don't think it's necessary. Our ped also didn't recommend them.

We do even though DS is a pretty good eater. But once in awhile, he's not hungry/doesn't want to eat so giving him a multivitamin makes me feel a touch better.
Our pedi recommended a multivitamin since birth, but we didn't start consistently giving him one until he was near 2 years old.

Yep she gets a multi vitamin and a calcium gummy everyday. Our pediatrician has never brought them up but we believe that vitamins are a good thing so we give them to her.
