Ds1 watched a few shows on the plane's tv on our2.5 hour flight. And he's watched a show while dh and I have our "slower" mornings on our vacation. He def gets more screentime during vacation!

If Gram is around and we aren't, she probably does because Gram likes to please her little girl. Otherwise, not really. We are usually busy on vacation and don't have time to let her watch TV.

During the actual act of traveling, yes, they get as much as they want! Anything to keep the peace! At the destination, we are more lax than at home, but still try to limit it.

I make a point not to increase screen time on vacation...as a result I usually bring a few games and craft things in our suitcase to occupy him in the hotel room during downtimes.

When we are in transit (on a plane or train), she can have it as as much as she wants. We try not to do that much while in our destination.

On the airplane, he has free range to watch as much as he wants. On the actual trip, we are usually busy so I would say he actually watches less. Although, sometimes in restaurants we will let him watch something if he is getting fussy waiting.

Yes. We recently drove 11.5 hours (one way) to FL and she watched movies most of the way. Then we stay with my in-laws who don't have our 5:30 wake time so we let her watch TV until they wake up. It's always hard coming home and getting back into no TV during the week routine.

Yep. We recently did a nine hour car trip and she watched movies most of the way. She's happy. We're happy. It all works.

Oh yes! She watched TV for the entire 4 hour flight. She also watched tons of Spanish cartoons in Mexico (even though she didn't understand any of it).

Well considering I just bought a portable DVD player, headset, and 3 DVDs for our plane ride Friday, I'd say so!

Just while we're actually driving- it's the only way she will sit in her car seat for longer than an hour or so. I'm embarrassed of how much tv she watched on our 5 hour trip to Ottawa over Christmas.

Yes, but it is usually only when we are on a plane or if we are driving to our destination. We usually try to start with books and toys.
