LO got two nosebleeds tonight. It looked like a lot of blood. I know it's fairly common for kids to get nosebleeds and my doctor doesn't seem too concerned. My sister used to get them all the time. It's just so startling seeing all that blood coming out of his little nose. I wonder if it's because he's been sleeping with the a/c on all week.

DS is 4 now, and still ALWAYS gets them. About a month ago he got one that bled for almost an hour, and then re-bled about every 45 min. His dr isn't to concerned either and just said to make sure we always have a humidifier in his room.

@Rosie Girl: my sister eventually stopped getting them when she was much older. Tonight was the first time I actually saw it as it was bleeding. In the past, I always found him in the morning with blood all over the bed.

DD just got her first one this week. Maybe it does have something to do with the AC since we've had it on a lot more lately. It has also been very humid in NY.

@Andrea: yup, we're in ny right now, visiting family. We had the a/c on the entire time. Can't believe how humid it's been already.

Oh no that sounds scary. None for my LO yet. I started getting them in middle school.
