LO 1 had her first real haircut in December, second in Feb and last one in May. Her hair grows fast and the ends look ratty so I will probably take her in next week!

Yup! His hair grows like a weed and gets out of control quickly since it is curly. We take him probably 1x month!

DS - yes
DD - no, only had 1 haircut at 18 months and she is 3 now. Its curly though so its short and doesn't hang - if it did I would probably cut it more often

My DS is 3 and needs a haircut about every 3 months. I like it fairly short on him though. My husband has started cutting his hair and does a good job of it.
@petunia354: once a month! Wow!

My daughter had her first real hair cut this past weekend at age 2. I usually get my mom to cut/trim her bangs every other month or so.

Nope. LO had her first trim at 2.5 years. I wish her sides would grow faster because she has a very definite U cut that I would prefer be more uniform all around. Fortunately her current preferred hairstyle is pigtails, EVERYDAY!
