My son doesn't get sick often cause he's at home (my mom watches him). He'll get the occassional cold here and there but nothing major. We plan on sending him to daycare part time in a few months so I'm sure he'll get sick a lot more often once he's in school. AUGH!

I think it just depends on their immune system. LO goes to daycare and rarely gets sick. I am sorry - it must be so hard for you and Bee. And Charlie, too, of course! =(

Poor Charlie! My mom went through this with my brother because he was a preemie and had a weak immune system. The good news is that with each year of his life my bro's immune system got better and he was sick less and less often. Hope it's that way for Charlie!!

In the meantime can you maybe ask your day care provider to be extra careful with Charlie? Extra hand washing, keeping a close eye on making sure nothing goes in his mouth, etc.

She's only gotten sick once, at 8 months and it was just a small cold that didn't last long. I'm a SAHM though, so she's not exposed to a lot. And if she were sick, I'm home with her anyway.
