DS got one as a gift. I was surprised to see that they are safe for kids under 3 since they have plastic eyes.

Yes he has 2. One is a puppy and one is a white bear.

My mom and sisters made one for LO for his first bear. He's not even here yet. Lol
We did the same for my niece born last year. It was her first bear too.

My LO isn't due until May but I've already told the grandparents that if any of them ever consider getting her a build a bear gift certificate they should be aware that THEY will be the ones taking her to pick it out. I've walked past that store way too many times and omgno.

She got one for, grandparents when she was 2 and has never played with it!

Ds doesn't have one, but my niece has a whole collection. She doesn't play with them, but likes the building process.

Nope, but I have one DD plays with. It was given to me by one of my good friends as kind of a prank for my 21st birthday. It's supposed to be my beloved rabbit that she accidentally shared a hair brush with. It came complete with angel wings and a stuffed birthday cake.

She has one that was gifted. A Dodger Monkey.
