If so, what kind of doll?
I'm thinking of buying a doll for my LO, maybe one from Manhattan Toy. Any suggestions?

My mom got her a doll from toys r us that she loves and takes everywhere. She bought her lots of clothes and accessories so we have to change her, change her diaper, give her a bottle, etc.

My girls got a set of Waldorf "heavy" babies when Lorelei was born. They really love their babies. Because of some of Ellie's sensory issues, she finds the weight really soothing, and Lorelei just likes to haul hers around and try to feed it and put it in a high chair, etc. I love that they have neutral facial expressions and so are great for imaginative play. http://www.etsy.com/listing/118241317/waldorf-inspired-heavy-baby-16-inch-doll?ref=cat_list_1 (this is where we got them). Out of all our dolls, these seem to get the most use and play (other than Ellie's American Girl doll).
