DD has the remnant of a wubba nub, just the little giraffe. And DS loves any A&A swaddle or blankie.

Yep. her bunny jellycat. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen (her love of the lovey).

He was very attached to a stuffed Sophie giraffe for a while and still likes her but he loves his Daniel Tiger stuffed animals. He hugs and kisses them and it is just too sweet!

One must always have an A&A blanket (she loves the tags) when she drinks her milk & the other always has a tissue in her hand to play with when she has hers. Yes, a tissue, we have no idea where that came from.

N is super attached to several things. One tag blanket, one triceratops stuffed animal from his wubbanub, captain America bear (Steve) and the quilt his departed grandmother made for her youngest son (N's uncle)
E is super attached to the A&A Silk security blankets.

Nope! Sometimes I wish he did because I wonder if he did, would he sleeping better at night? Since he would know how to self-soothe.

Yes, he loves the Angel Dear lovies. But really he just likes something soft to rub, he isn't picky if I forget his main one.

Yes, she has multiple soft blankeys. She has one favorite though and she'll drag it around with her. So cute.. my own little Linus

DD1 is a paci addict, it's really horrible. She needs rehab. And her stuffed Elmo.
DD2 is only 4 months so no lovey.

A&A security blanket for the last year or so, but she's recently started forming an attachment to her swaddle blankets too.
honeydew / 7504 posts
A&A security blanket. It's the one with elephants on it. He calls it "nefant blankey."

Yes; it's a little bunny head w/ monogrammed blanket from PBK! She like pets it and rubs her hands up and down the ears when she's nursing and trying to go to sleep!

A&A swaddle blankets. She's 2 but still loves them. Lucky for me, she treats all 4 that we have the same and hasn't seemed to pick a favorite. That's makes it easier- if we accidentally misplace one or one is dirty, there's always another one we can use.

DD1 is kind of moving off of them, but she still likes to sleep with her blankie and sheep. DD2 has to have every one of her A&A blankets with her at all times

yup Charlie's is a fox doll and one of Mr. Bee's t-shirts.
Olive's was an aden and anais muslin swaddle but it's pretty much torn to pieces now so she switched to her aden dream blanket.

No. He likes to sleep with lots of his stuffed animals, but he doesn't have one that he demands on a daily basis.

DS chews and sucks on his loveys in order to fall asleep and self soothe so we have to keep multiple clean ones around to rotate. He has Angel Dear loveys, other kind of similar loveys, and these small blankets my mom made him in the same plushy material. Never took a paci and he started off just stroking it in his crib but at some when he started teething he began chewing and sucking on them and it stuck!

DS2 has two burp cloths that he uses a lovey to fall asleep. It's really cute how he rubs it on his face.

Yes, a lulujo little blanket that's trimmed in satin...she calls it her "lilly". She also is attached to her jellycat bunny
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
Yes a satin trimmed blanket.
Luckily we got a similar soft trimmed blanket for school and he doesn't mind going back and forth.

I tried to introduce a nice blanket and she took to her "bankie" which *was* a pink and white fleece blanket, it now is more of a dingy brown blanket....it's so gross but it is her thing.

He likes having various stuffed animals and blankets around and seems to go through phases with different ones. So i can't say there is one he must always have.
persimmon / 1043 posts
No, I bought Jellycat bunny loveys for each of them and they both have always had A&A swaddle blankets around the house if they want, but neither of my kids took to any sort of lovey. Maybe I introduced them too late or they've just gotten used to the idea that things get rotated out to wash very frequently so they didn't have a chance to attach, lol.
grapefruit / 4817 posts
Yes. I actually didn't think he'd take to anything for a long time, and all the items I introduced as potential loveys weren't a hit. Eventually he just fell in love with a crappy Walmart blanket I found in the closet that must have been a gift or hand me down (I have no idea), and then latched onto a giant black teddy bear from Toys R Us. So Bear Bear and blankie must go everywhere, though I was super thankful for them when he had so much medical stuff being done last year.

Yes. DS has a bear that they no longer make. We have managed to find another one on eBay and scooped it up. We've had our fair share of almost losing it, and wanted a back up just incase.

No but he sucks on the hands of his zipadeezip sometimes. He also has suddenly taken a big interest in his stuffed Curious George, so maybe that?
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
He has a Jellycat tiger named "Tigey" (named during his Daniel Tiger obsession) that he sleeps with every night. It's really sweet...he comes into our bed every morning to cuddle, and he always brings Tigey and tucks him in between himself and me.

I introduced a lovey when we sleep trained. She was only 4 months so I was still pretty worried about suffocating, especially since she loves to smash blankets onto her face. So no blankets. I opted for a small soft dinosaur. Fortunately she loves it. It worked out really well. I love watching her on the monitor as she calmly plays with it, when she might otherwise be freaking out. I think it helps her a lot with being alone when she hasn't fallen asleep yet.
