@sorrycharlie: E was always tring to eat hers too! and would stick her tiny little tongue throught the holes when she couldn't bite it. Sigh.... I miss that little baby.

We have the rattle one, which he adores, and the rainstick one, which he doesn't care much about.

Yes. He only started liking it a few months ago. Now he crawls all around the house with it in his hand and he will toss it then chase after it!

Yup and she does the same thing as @yellowbird's lo - she sticks her tongue through it. We also roll it back and forth to one another. She doesn't yet know what she's doing but she is pretty good at rolling it, even if it goes behind her or to the side.
