LO1 doesn't have bangs and never has. LO2 is at that stage where hers are growing out just from being a baby, but they are always in her eyes. I wish she would keep clips in, but she won't! Sometimes I can get away with putting the front up with a little rubber band. Can't wait for them to grow out!

Nope I didn't want the upkeep and I don't think her face shape needs them.

Yes, only because a 5 year old cut them a few months ago and they are still growing out.

Nope, I also didn't want the maintenance. It's easier for me to pull her hair up/back or braid it than to convince her to get her hair cut routinely.

@Smurfette: yep! A 5 year old friend snipped her bangs and ear back in September.

Yep ... she had/has a baby mullet, so I thought the bangs would add a little more "style" to it. I love them ... especially since we can put ponytails in now. It's very little upkeep ... just a little trim every couple months.

DD1 has bangs and a bob. We get lots of compliments on her hair. The real reason it is short is she won't let us brush it or style it at all. I sometimes have bangs but not at the moment.

Yes, I figure she can grow out her bangs when she's older but for now it keeps her looking like a 'baby" (she's 3).
