LO 1 told DH that the dr she saw yesterday was handsome, nice and he gave her two stickers...a dinosaur and Snow White!
LO 1 also talks about her classmate Alex all the time and how he is "silly" and sooo nice. LO 2 likes this Alex kid as well because he always shares his rocks and plays in the sand with her.

E is madly in love with a TV presenter called Andy. She always wants to read books about dinosaurs because "Andy likes dinosaurs".

All the daycare teachers at LO's school say she has a crush on a boy at school. But they are just inseparable in class so I am calling that plain old friendship.

DS is 2.5 and there's a girl at daycare that's a few months older than him. They have a love/hate relationship from the get go. They fight (literally fight) with one another (DS has a permanent scar on his face from her) over everything, but when the teachers separate them for meal times or nap time, one of them will always get up and go lay down next to the other. Separate them again and one will once again get up and go lay down next to the other.
They love sitting next to one another and even when it's time to go home, they have to make sure they give each other a hug first. Sigh.

DS is 4... not sure if I can say it is a crush but he was very good friends with a girl named V before. He said she is his best friend and talks about her all the time (and hearing from her mom that's what V does too, and V's dad joked he needs to check out who this boy is at school lol). Every morning at drop off V would give DS a big hug. But then at one point V told DS that they are no longer best friends or whatever high maintenance girl issues they have over there hahaha. So apparently they haven't been best friends, or maybe even friends, since!
Then there is this other girl H, she is the sweetest. Also DS's best friend. They would hug each other when I pick DS up! One time at another kid's birthday party, DS saw H coming in and he go over to greet her and gave her a hug. So cute.

DD1 told me she hugged a boy at school yesterday but that he didn't want to do hugging.
She also told me that she's going to go to a castle and meet a prince. They're going to get married and then have a sleepover with his best friend.
I foresee some uncomfortable conversations in the future.
