I have very slight dimples and I just noticed that Charlie does too.
How about your LO - do they have dimples?

My oldest LO does! No idea from where, both DH and I don't have 'em, and neither does LO2.

Yes. Probably like yours, subtle, so not many people notice them. But on both sides.

Yes, they both have small dimples, but it's not that noticeable. They got it from DH.

L does not, K has slight dimples that are super noticeable when she smiles.

Yes! Super deep dimples on both sides. When she was born, one of the first things I said was "she has dimples!!" since neither DH or I have them. My first cousin has the same super deep dimples, and apparently my grandmother (who passed long before my parents even met) had the same dimples.

LO1 does not but LO2 has the cutest dimples! They're the ones by her mouth and not on her cheeks. They only show when she smiles. Weird crop photo because not gold.

She has the same dimples that I do. They are super high on our cheeks and only show when really smiling.

Yep slight dimples when he smiles in his squishy cheeks

Alice does, but Blake doesn't. I have very deep dimples that I get from my mom. I cropped her out of this photo, but you can see a tiny bit of my mom's dimple here! She has one dimple on her right side and so do both of her granddaughters!

I have two dimples and DH has none. But last night I saw some faint dimples on DS when he was laughing. I hope they get bigger as he gets older!

He has some small ones, but I think they might just be cause his cheeks are so chub. I had to look at a photo to even be able to answer the question, how terrible!

L doesn't, but C does - a deep one on the right. I have them but DH doesn't.

So I have a funny story about dimples. LO has a dimple... I thought it was cute... then I ended up googling it once and found out they were hereditary but neither DH or I had them.
I thought LO was switched at birth for a while. DH rest assured me that he was LO the whole time at the hospital no way there was a switched at birth situation.
Months later... I was looking at DH and he has a dimple! I pointed it out... he looked at the mirror and did some face expression... it's very slight (it's very obvious on LO) but it is there in the same place at LO.. DH never knew he had a dimple... in his 30+ years! Turns out DH's dad also has a dimple but on the other side of his face. Doh!

I have one and each of my boys also have one, but theirs are on opposite sides.

@Raindrop: that's so funny! I have a similar story but with my eyes. I was in my mid-twenties when someone mentioned that I have some green pigment in one of my otherwise very blue eyes. It had been there all my life and neither I nor my parents noticed. It's super obvious to me now, and multiple people (including strangers) have mentioned it since then, so we're clearly not imagining it.

Subtle dimples for both me and LO. I actually always thought people were making it up if they mentioned I had dimples until a few years ago! lol

My son has slight dimples. My daughter has more deeper ones. It only comes out for both of them when they smile a certain way.

She does! A deep one and a shallow one. Exactly like me. I love my mini me!

@Astro Bee: Haha! I guess DH is not the only one that missed what was in front of their face their whole life. I guess if you are not looking for it you don't notice it? Hehe. You must have beautiful eyes!

@Raindrop: So true! I spent my teen years wishing I had my Mom's hazel-green eyes, and it turned out that I had green in one after all. The term for it is heterochromia, although mine is just partial, meaning one section of one eye is different coloured.
So nice that your son and his dad share that characteristic. Once I "discovered" the eye thing, for some reason it made me feel that much closer to my mom.

@Astro Bee: That's so great to hear that you are closer to your mom after finding out! It's really a great surprise.
I really do hope DH and LO will be close in the future.
Thank you for sharing your lovely story!

Yes, and they are so cute! He got them from my DH, since I don't have them.
