My LO is very familiar with the action and word. (Thanks DH!) She asked an elderly guy if he farted the other day...he apologized and told her he doesn't have great control anymore!

Yes, he's only recently figured out the distinction between "poo poo" and "tooting" lol. He used to stop and say poo poo everytime he farted. I can understand his confusion!

My baby cousin goes into a fit of giggles when she farts. Unless she's busy (climbing something, working on something) and then it's even more hilarious because she is so into what she's doing that she doesn't even notice.

Mine does. The best is when we are in a public bathroom and he hears someone in another stall and loudly asks, "Did they just fart?!"
