I've been trying to teach my daughter our address - I made it into a little song. She's got some of it! Next I'll try to get her to learn my cell number. It's the easiest number on the planet (3 numbers that alternate) so hoping she will get it!

Nope. N will be three Monday and we are still working on him saying his name.

She just knows her street name, city name, state name and her country. Her full name and we taught her our actual names. We will work on the phone number soon!

@stargal: N is speech delayed but we are getting there. He will tell me his name but not people he doesn't know. He does now how to get home from most places.

She knows her full address and name, and our names. I'm also relatively certain that if she were within 2 blocks of our house in any direction, she'd have a good chance of guiding someone to our house (we live in a city). She doesn't know phone numbers though, and I think she'd have trouble with that.

Phone number - god no. She knows her full name (first and last), our "real/other" first names and her city/state.

Yes, he knows our address, my phone number and our real names. He's known since he was about 2.5 and we ask him every couple weeks to make sure he still remembers.

He's 22 months, and he knows our address. Haven't tried phone numbers yet!

He knows our names, his full name, we've never taught him our numbers or address, thanks for the reminder!

No, but I need to teach him soon. I thought about it recently but then forgot. Oops!

@Mrs. J: oh wow! How did you teach him?
DS is 26 months and doesn't know our address or phone numbers. I haven't taught him!

We haven't worked on it. We're still trying to get her to remember what town we live in. And she still refuses to acknowledge that she has a middle name. Ha.

No, because she's only 7 months old
However, I remember fondly the song my mom taught my little brother when he was little! 272-5329 just call my house and I'll be fine! Back before you always needed the area code. There was a second line too for our address.
Will definitely be doing this when she's old enough!

She knows our city name and the name of the street we live on.

He knows his name (and will tell ME his full name, but no one else). We should work on teaching him our names, especially since we're going to Disney soon. But no where near knowing his address.

NO, she knows her full name and our full names, and where we live, but not the address. I should work on this but it's a lot of numbers, we don't' have a cool street name

@LuLu Mom: omg I know! Our house # is 5 digits and then our street name is 2 digits.
She only knows our house # and our names.
