Yes, I'm a librarian and she has been to my storytimes and other programs. She likes to help daddy find books and play librarian like mommy.

Her dad works on a farm so she has gotten up close with the equipment and the two of them arranged to bring one of the farm's semi trucks to her preschool to show her class.

She knows that I'm a nurse, and she sees nurses in her pediatrician's office. That's really different from what I do - but I don't think a 3 year old needs to know what an ICU is

She says that I go to the hospital to "kiss owies", which makes me smile because my dad is a Dr and I used to say the same thing about his job.

He has no idea. He hates when I wear work clothes though because he knows it signals less time for him (I typically only work when he is at school). I've tried telling him, but explaining what a lawyer does is a little difficult!

He knows I work in a hospital. And he only knows that when we drive by the hospital.

haha no. I would bet he thinks I get wet on the train, for work. Because I got caught in a major storm, stranded on a train platform because of train delays and that's what DH told him when he asked "where's mama?" that evening.

So, now whenever my work is mentioned all we hear is: "Mama all wet on the train!"

She knows that Mommy is a writer and Daddy is a teacher. Sometimes she will want to type on my computer and be a writer at her job in Manhattan.

"My mom helps get schools iPads"

"My dad helps work in the forests"

- Both are pretty true!

Sort of... he says I do colouring (I'm a graphic designer)!
