Yes! If she wants another song, she'll just say "no no!" . . . but when I switch to a good song, she lets me sing, and usually joins in (and dances about).

Yep, she almost always calms down if she is fussy and I sing Twinkle, Twinkle.

In the mornings when I'm driving him to the babysitters I turn on music and sing to remind him I'm still there since he can't see me. He gets fussy when I stop...but I really hate listening to myself. I sound awful! I don't see why he likes it. Lol

Ha, ha I love her!
Yes, for some odd reason he doesn't seem to mind, when I sing the dogs howl- it is a truly painful thing to listen to.

sometimes she tells me to stop singing, but most of the time she wants me to sing!

She seems to enjoy it...but even if she didn't like it I'd sing anyway.

Yes! She loves Apples and Bananas. She smiles immediately whenever we sing it.

Oh heeeelllllll yes. I have to be careful about starting to sing because I'll be stuck singing forever! As soon as a song is over she just starts signing and yelling "more more"

Yes, I think so. It calms him down often. It can even stop him from squirming when he is being changed....well, sometimes.

Depends on her mood:sometimes I have to sing songs over and over again and other times she tells me, "no mommy, don't sing."

So far, it calms him down. He can't talk yet, though, so who knows what will happens once he does! That may be the end of my singing career.

I have no idea! Sometimes she'll smile/clap/dance, and other times she shakes her head no. She's opinionated like that.

Loves it! Songs are magic. Mary had a Little Lamb makes her stop fighting getting Advil. Yummy yummy yummy I've got Love in my tummy makes her open her mouth for food. I'm Being Eaten by a Boa constrictor makes her nurse longer and stop being distracted. The Pink Panther song makes her stop freaking out about going into her car seat and stops her from freaking out over getting her face washed. I don't know what I'd do without songs!
