My toddler (almost 2.5) isn't too interested in playing with kids her age or younger. She gravitates towards the 4-5 year olds at the park and has a blast when we hang out with friends with older kids.

Yes she loves playing with older kids, they tend to dote on her and give her lots of attention, which she loves. Her best friend has older sisters and they've been a big part of why the two younger ones got along so well.

When my DD was that age, she was really into older kids. Now at almost 6, she love little babies! My DD likes kids of all ages.

He seems to like kids his own age- thus far. And girls, he loves girls!
But I have a 9 year old sister who is seriously one of his favorite people. He has a cousin 6 months older who he loves too. -
Because she's an only and doesn't have any baby friends she prefers interacting with older kids. She's always saying hi when we go out.

She plays with everyone, but her 2 best friends at daycare are both 3 years old, but they are the only other girls so I think she gravitates toward them. She has friends within months of her she likes too, but she is more aggressive with them.
