Does your LO like Sesame Street? I cannot convince DD1, who is 3, that Sesame Street is worth watching - she actually asks me to turn it off! It actually doesn't bother me that much, because I find it annoying, TBH, but I feel like she's missing out on a classic!
She's completely fixated on Dora (it used to be Daniel Tiger), and really doesn't watch anything else. I was hoping to broaden her horizons a bit with Sesame Street but nope! Girl's not having any part in it!

LO liked Sesame Street a lot around her 2nd birthday. I cannot get her to watch it now at 2.5 years.

Nope. I used to think she just didn't like TV since that was the only show I had ever let her watch. Then I turned on Daniel Tiger and she was obsessed.
Funny enough I never really liked Sesame Street as a kid either and I loved mr. Rogers.

Yes - she's almost 3 and has loved it for a long time. She only watches that, Daniel Tiger and Peppa Pig but that's her fav. We actually saw Sesame Street Live yesterday.

No, but I haven't put it on in awhile. DS is 2 and the only show he really loves is Mickey Mouse!

Yep! She loves it. Especially Abby and Cookie. She's pretty easy to please when it comes to kids shows though. I can't stand Dora--she loves it, but I'm a terrible mother, so I don't let her watch it.

We never watched the show but DS loved watching clips on his tablet at 2. Now at nearly 3, he isn't interested.

It's the only thing we've shown Bennett so far (20 months), and he likes it, but it could be just because he doesn't know any better. He likes Elmo, and he likes when they do things with transportation or animals.

Nope, we are all about Mickey Mouse here! We can kind of get her to watch Dora, Sofia the first, and miles from tomorrowland. She likes Daniel tiger but I don't care for it most of the time. 99% of the time though, it's Mickey Mouse!

We used to have to just fast forward to the Elmo parts, but now she likes it (she's 3.5). I use it as a bribe in the morning, if she gets ready for school fast she can watch it.

Both kids loved Sesame Street at 1, but then it tailored off within 6 months. LO1 actually enjoyed watching the episodes with his brother at 4 years old. He picked up new words and concepts.

No, it really doesn't hold her attention. She's just about 2 now. She prefers Daniel Tiger or Doc McStuffins.

Interesting! I'm glad to hear we're not the only ones who are not on board the Sesame Street train. I remember always HATING The Muppets as a kid, and maybe this is a similar thing - talking puppets ARE kind of weird!
@fancyfunction: That's actually what prompted my question. I remember seeing Sesame Street Live as a kid, and my friend just took her daughter (and invited us along). I declined because tickets were too expensive to go and have my LO refuse to stay in the arena.
