I cannot get my LO to stop drinking the bath water! He just drinks it like he is dying of thirst in the desert! I try to stop him but he just thinks it's so much fun. Thankfully he's not too too dirty and we hardly use any soap.. Anyone else have this problem?

She pulls that washcloth into her mouth and sucks all the water out of it over and over. I gave up trying to stop her.

UGH! Yes!
I let color water drip from the faucet for this reason.. she holds her cup or whatever under the faucet and drinks the water.If I don't leave it running, she'll scoop up bathwater and drink it.
I don't use soap on her everyday, but it still grosses me out!

I've noticed the past couple days that when I wash her face, she'll try to lick the wash cloth. I thought it was kinda weird... maybe this will turn into trying to drink bathwater??

@prettylizy: omg, LO does this all the time! i'll get distracted getting soap and i find her sucking on the cloth.
i find that when i pour water over her head/neck, she'll stick her tongue out to get water. too cute!

Yes, not every day but he tries every once in a while which is a problem because you're not supposed to drink tap water in Mexico!

LO hasn't arrived yet - but I remember as a kid I used to love to drink the bathwater. I probably drank it from a baby to about age 5. Gross!

oh yes. She sucks it out of the washcloth or she takes the big cup and sucks it down. Mind you she has PLENTY to drink when shes out of the tub, but the bathwater must taste extra special? lol

charlie used to drink bathwater all the time when he was younger. olive has always sucked on a washcloth so i give her one at the start of every bath.

HAHA! I was just thinking about this the other day. She loves sucking on the washcloth and she tries to drink the water out of the cup I use to rinse her hair.
