My LO likes to admire her shoes but she doesn't like wearing them. She is always barefoot when I pick her up from daycare.

Nope! She scrunches her little toes so I can't get them on her!! But she's not walking yet so it's not really worth the battle. I just send her to school in socks or barefoot (most days it's still in the 80's here)

LO likes to wear shoes because it's his ticket out of the house. He takes his shoes as soon as he comes through the door though.

@yin: same here! He loves going outside and he knows that's the way to get outside!
My DD is a girly girl and has a hard time choosing each morning, so yes, she loves to wear shoes.

She didn't like wearing them before she could walk (I only tried putting them on her for pictures and the like), but now that she's on the move, she carries them around with her and tries to put them on herself! So she's a fan

@yin: LOL! Same! My son can't get his shoes on fast enough when we're going outside. Same with his hat. He knows that he has to wear his hat to go outside. My DD is starting to get that concept so she grabs her shoes when she wants to go outside.

Nope she flexes her feet so I can't get them on. And she's always barefoot when I get her from daycare...socks never stay on either!

She does. If we're in the car for too long she'll take them off though -.-

DS2 loves putting his shoes on because he knows it means we're going outside to play or going somewhere. He doesn't mind leaving them on most of the time...we do have those random days though where he won't quit taking them off and throwing them through Target....lol.
DS1 is older so he has no problem wearing shoes, but he takes them off the minute we come home.

LO loves everything about shoes - picking them out, trying to put her own shoes on, etc. She's a shoe-a-holic!

Yes! She brings them to us at home and forces us to out them on her so she can wear them around the house. Haha
