My LO HATES the Nose Freida now! 
SAD. She didn't used to mind it at all for.. the first 10 months of her life or so.
Now that she can recognize it, she starts going wild as soon as she sees the saline spray we use. DH literally has to pin her down so I can suck out her boogies.

I've never used it. Maybe once when she was a newborn. She has her first cold now so I had to use saline spray and she wasn't a fan. But she puts her head back (to get away from it) and it makes it easier for me to use!

My LO hates the Nose Frida!!! She knows it's coming after I spray saline in her nose and goes completely bonkers. I have Yi hold her head still with one hand and guide with the other. However, once I finish sucking out the boogies she breathes a sigh of relief. =P

Yes but it is so much more effective that I think it is worth it. It isn't like my son wouldn't hate the bulb suction thing too.

@ElisaT: I mean, my LO struggles to breathe when her nose is plugged up. You'd think she'd LOVE for me to nose frieda her.

@artbee: I actually saline sprayed my nose to see what it feels like. It's not THAT bad!

LO hates it as well. She tries to grab at it so I can't use it on her. Have you ever tried it yourself? Our husband and I did it on each other. It's not fun. She doesn't mind the saline though.

Yeah, my son doesn't like the nose freida either. He is 4 weeks old and today he was just bawling, I felt so bad! I actually turn the shower all the way on hot, shot the door and stand with him near the shower which helps loosen his boogies so that they're easier to suck out. He really likes the steam from the shower though!

@artbee - haha I totally pick my LO's nose too! It's so gross what we do now that we are parents now. She's going to be do embarrassed by me when she gets older.
