Ahh Pierson (11 weeks) is so long that he is outgrowing his clothes so fast. some of his onsies are baggy on him but they look like high waters on his legs!! his pants are soooo baggy (i hate how baggy they look) but they are getting short on him!
anyone else have this problem?

yep my daughter is tall so she does outgrow in length but since I have onesie extenders thats not a problem for me

Oh yeah. C has shot up like a weed! She will be 6 months next week and fits into 12m pants because she's so tall. She's 29" tall, my ped said that's the height of the average 1 year old!

@zippylef: 29 inches, wow! P was 24 inches at 8 weeks so i predict he will be around C's height around 6 months! Is C really skinny too?

@stargal: I mean... she's not super chunky but she is 20lbs. She was born 22" and I think was around 24-25" at 8 weeks.

I think Toddler Girl grew two inches this summer! I bought her 3T pants (jeggings, actually) and they fit in length but I had to bring the waist in so much that they are all bunched up at her waist.

My lo is 95th percentile in height and weight so she's big in every direction. We don't really have that problem.

YES! sometimes he just pulls his pants off because they're too big in the waist but perfect if not short in length, hahaha

Yes! LO never fills her clothes out width-wise before we move up a size. She's 5.5 mos and in 9 and 12 mo clothes, but nothing has ever been tight around on her. We put her in leggings a lot since regular pants are always baggy on her.

Yup! LO is long and lean (usually 25-30% weight but 85%ish for height) so she always outgrows her clothes by length first.

Yup! E is a string bean; very long and skinny. She can still wear 3 month outfits width-wise, but has to have 6 or sometimes even 9 months pants for the length.

Yup! She's 5 months and have been in 9 month sleepers for about 2 weeks now.
@Mrsbells: which brand do you have? I am reading that the iPlay ones don't fit a lot of onesie brands. The other one I see are One Step Ahead but I only see on their site?

For sure. She's a lot like @zippylef: , was 22 inches at birth (but left the hospital under 7lbs!!). She's now, at 4.5 months about 27 inches and 16lbs. She's been wearing 9 month sleepers for length for weeks. I find carters (reg and target) to be longest. Gap 3-6 is way too short, and 6-12 rompers will not be lasting long in length. She can still wear some 0-3 pants that have a loose bottom as capris:) She is mostly legs though, not surprising since I have a 36" inseam!

DD has always been in the 80th percentile (+/-5%) for height, and DS is in the 95th percentile for height, so both of them grow out of the height long before they fill out the width of their clothes.
For DS, I tend to put pants on him that fit around the waist, so it looks like he's always wearing capris, lol. I'll just keep him in sleep n' plays in the winter, I think, since I haven't been able to find infant boy pants that fit him both the waist and the length. With DD, she either wears leggings (which fit tighter around the waist), drawstring pants (when I can find them), or Gap Baby jeans because they have hidden elstaic waist extenders on the inside.

@regberadaisy: The brand I have is called One step ahead, although it is currently unavailable. What I do like about it is, it comes in a pack of 10 and there are 5 different snap sizes ( 2 of each size) so they is always one to fit every brand. The only annoying thing is they arent labelled so you kinda have to label them yourself or try a few before you find one that fits

definitely! he's going to be 5 months at the end of the week and wears 6-9 month sleepers and has been for almost a month.
