We like having our LO in her own room but there have been a few times when we've tried to co-sleep due to our exhaustion in the middle of the night, early in the morning, or for naps (especially for naps!). But she just always thinks it's a big joke and has fallen asleep maybe only once or twice when she was sick.

Usually I'll just co-sleep with LO in her bed (mattress on floor). Only when I'm super tired though or when DH is out of town.

Charlie doesn't understand co-sleeping... I've tried to snuggle him in the past but he's just been confused.
The last few days though, he's been sick and has slept next to me on the couch. So I think he might get it now?

@mrbee: poor Charlie, still sick. I do like how they do not mind to snuggle when they are sick, though. My LO doesn't like to snuggle otherwise.

LO doesn't know what's happening when we've brought her to the bed. A few times the last couple of days we've been trying to see if she'll fall asleep in the bed only because next month we're travelling and won't have a crib available so we're going to have to co-sleep. She's not having any of it. She's like her mommy, likes to sleep in her own bed!

@Rubies: Are you going to get a room with 2 fulls/queens? When we traveled LO and I would take one bed and DH the other. Good luck co-sleeping when you guys are on vacay!

The only times we've tried were when we stayed at a hotel. Every time it took RJ 2-3 hours to fall asleep. He'd crawl all around and all over us.
