She does it kinda as an apology. She will have her melt down and then come over and be all sweet like "Mommy, you are my favorite girl".

lol, yes! Or when he's thinking about asking me a question that he knows the answer will be no, lol.

Not yet, but she says "wuv you mommy" after timeout and she's apologizing.

When she is acting up and I'm disciplining/correcting her sometimes she will say "mama is happy" bc she wants me to smile.
