We've tried church but she just won't sit still. When we're at my parents church, we stay as long as possible until I have to take her out and go to the nursery with her.
Our church does children's service where children 3+ go to the children's chapel during the readings and sermon. We may start taking her sometime next Fall to see if she can handle that.

Nursery! But we usually get paged to pick one or both of them up because they're upset (usually the younger one).

We started sending to nursery at around 2, she just wouldn't sit still and one of us was constantly taking her "out" and neither of us were getting the message. So she goes to "sunday school" and they have a children's singing service that she loves that they take them too.

With snacks and the kids activity bags church provides, she does fine.

He does well w books and milk and standing/sitting on the pews as entertainment.

we know most of the kids in the nursery very well and see them during the week often, so our boys are happy to go to the nursery for the whole service (2hrs). they started going at around 11 months.
at first LO#1 had to adjust to being away from us, but after 2 months or so it was smooth sailing. LO#2 didn't blink an eye because his brother was there, and so many of his friends/friends' parents.

Dd goes to waumbaland and DS comes with us since he cries at drop off 
once he gets a little older we'll start dropping him off as well.

DS always makes it through. We've been taking him since he was a couple months old and now that he's 14 months, he waves at everyone and claps. He loves going.

He's been in the nursery since 6 months. He likes to "talk" too much! I'll start trying to bring him into service around age 2 to see how it goes.

We make it through with books, stickers, and other quiet small toys. We don't have a nursery per se (just a small room with a change table and rocker). We've been taking her since she was 4 weeks old, so she's used to it.

I want to send her to the nursery provided but DH likes her to hang out with us during mass. We have good days and bad days. We bring books and snacks for her. The kids get to bring the offering first before the baskets are passed around. Her favorite thing to do is to walk down the aisle to bring the offering to the basket near the alter.

When she was little #1 would sit so nicely. As she got mobile we went to nursery and Sunday school. The few times she's in "big church" I don't pay much attention to the service because I'm keeping her quiet with snacks, stickers, coloring, etc. so we only do it for special times like christmas.
#2 is 5 weeks and haven't managed to drop him yet. I had hoped to wear him in the sanctuary but he was all fussy so we walked around outside the building instead while #1 went to Sunday school! I'm hoping he calms down and we can do nursery within a month or so.
