My almost 3 year old stopped taking naps when she was a little over 1.5. I was definitely not expecting that one. Every kid I knew in my family/friends circle had kids who napped well through 3 years old. My 15 month old still naps every day for a couple of hours. I will be so sad when naps end for her as well. I hope it's not any time soon!

Oh gosh, I would lose my mind. I need that time. You are a strong woman! Sadie still naps 3 hours every day. She's almost 2.5.

DD dropped her last nap right after DS was born, she was 26 months old. I was so not ok with it.

LO is only 14 months so she definitely still naps. She's been between 1 and 2 naps for like 3 months now--at daycare she naps 1.5-2hrs day, and at home she usually takes 2 45min-1 hour naps

27 months and yes. She fights it hard at least one day over the weekend, and will end up not napping some days.

STOP IT. Literally my heart just skipped a beat because LO is 1.5 and I would not be able to handle her dropping her nap.
I am dreading her dropping her nap because not only do I lose that time during the day but I imagine bedtime would move up. She has just gotten to the point that she can stay up later (sometimes 9pm) without losing it and so that means extra family time especially when DH comes home late from work.

Olivia doesn't nap anymore because I want her in bed early. Selfish but I need time with DH! Ha. Sometimes if she's exhausted she will pass out on the couch or in my bed. Or car.

DD will be two, next month and still needs her afternoon nap (and who am I kidding; I need it, too). She'll usually snooze for 2-3 hours.

my daughter just turned 3 and is still taking 2 hour naps during the weekends and an hour nap at daycare since they only take naps from 12:30 - 2 and it usually takes her 20 minutes or so to fall asleep.

LO1 stopped napping shortly after he turned 2. He will occasionally take a car nap but never naps at home. LO2 takes a nap after lunch, but it's short and usually lasts 1.5 hours.

My son, who will be 4yo in a couple weeks, still naps 2-3x a week. We do enforce rest time via a toddler alarm clock daily, where he's free to either nap, read books, or play quietly in his room. My daughter, who is 14 months, still naps 2x a day, and I align her second nap with my son's rest time so that everyone can take a break in the afternoons. Sanity saver!

She's 3 and takes a 2 hour nap M-F. No naps on weekends. I'd love for her to go to bed early and drop the nap or take a shorter one but that's not happening. Maybe it will happen when she goes to preschool in the fall, their nap time is 1.5 hours.

DD just turned 2 and still naps 2-3 hours every day. She falls asleep fast at bedtime so I think she still needs her naps.

My DS is 2 and naps one time a day for about 2 hours. It's great, because I use that time to relax or catch up on whatever housework needs to be done. I hope he keeps napping for a while.

DD1 is 3 and naps are a hit or miss. I don't force it any more. Sadly bedtime is always 9 or 930 despite nap or no nap.

He's 15 months and naps! 1.5-2.5 hours is normal. For this week anyway. He isn't super consistent with length!

No naps here for the two kids, but I have them do quiet time. I feel like people forget about quiet time. You still get to rest even without naps ...

@Andrea: I tried to make Olivia do quiet time and she would fall asleep hahaha. which was great for a break...but sucked at night.

DS1 just turned 4 and doesn't nap at school anymore but still does on weekends at home or if we are out and about in the car. He's never been a great napper and will wake up at the drop of a dime, but we still try to instill/force him to bc he goes wacko if he doesn't get that nap!
DS2 is almost 2 and takes one nap everyday for a few hours (generally 2 hours).
