@autumnlove: Haha that made me lol!! "Pasquale fell down today and ate cheese at snacktime."
Too funny, I could totally hear my kids saying something like that too!

Not daycare, but LO talks about kids in the church nursery all the time! At least every other day she tells me that she and Gavin made a big mess at church and built a big tower. That definitely happened weeks ago. Some she sees several times a week, so it makes sense. Most of them she only sees once a week, if that.

LO doesn't talk much yet but I'm sure she'll tell me when she can. Daycare had a dog (ugh) and LO randomly says "woof" now.

My LO talks about the little kids in her class sometimes. Like if one of them had an accident in class she'll tell me. Sometimes when we read books she'll point to them and say it's her friend from class. My LO has weird quirks - her favorite letter is the letter "I" so she talks a lot about her friend Isla from school and I think it's bc her name has a strong I sound

All the time, especially a set of twins who are his best friends! I ask about other kids too and he is less interested in them.

Last night, my son was talking about Tiana, who I've never heard of, but I realized later that he was actually talking about another little girl and she is obsessed with princesses, so she must have been play acting as Tiana, lol.

Yep! She tells me who got a time out, what food the kids ate, who was absent, etc.

Sometimes but never what I want to know! He told me the other day that one of the kids was bad at coloring and another has shoes that light up when he steps. But I have tried to lead him to talk about some of the kids whose parents intrigue me and no dice.

Yep. I only get social reports after school. If I want to know what he actually learns, I have to ask his teacher lol.

@Corduroy: our daycare has a dog too, and DD says his name all the time and imitates him!
She also repeats the name of her daycare buddies over and over on the drive home (it's a short list, there are only 5 kids in the daycare)! She's just starting (at 20 months) to report back a bit more than just satying their names. Like she will say "Emma funny" instead of just "Emma".
