LO tries to read all of her favorite books with me. She is 2, so she can't read yet and doesn't have all the words memorized, just some of them. She basically mumbles or makes up things until she gets to the parts she knows.

Yeah, she's 18 months and is constantly handing books to me. She likes to point things out on the pages now, like "cat", "owl", "doggy" and my favourite is "mummy, HOT" whenever she sees a cup in a book as she assumes it's my cup of tea

He brings books to me, sits in my lap, turns pages, points at and names the things he knows, and doesn't ever let me actually read the words. He gets mad when I try, puts the book away, gets another one and the whole process starts over again! We "read" half a dozen books this way!

she's obsessed with books and just babbles while I read them to her. She's 1 and has no clue wtf is going on. but loves books

We have read books so many times she will actually say some words or phrases when I get to a certain page. Sometimes she will flip through the book and "read"! I almost had a heart attack when I thought she was reading but nope, just plain old memorization.

Yes, I think it is really funny. When we read 'Olivia' she has also taken to acting out the ending. Too funny.
