Without being asked/told, does your LO use manners? A has been saying please and thank you a good 70% of the time. The other times we have to remind her, but not bad for a two year old. I think we will work on "excuse me" next, or trying to teach her to not interrupt when someone is talking. That one may be a few years though, and do kids ever really grasp that one?

It's a work in progress. He's really good about saying "excuse me" and "thanks" but not so great on the "please."

She's pretty good! I always give her praise when she's polite. It's adorable. Now interupting..that's a different story.

Most of the time. I think it's so cute when he says "please" or "thank you" without prompting! We definitely haven't done "excuse me" yet for interrupting - in fact his favorite thing now is to interrupt me when I'm doing something with him and stop to tell DH something to say "no no mama, do not talk to dada!".

Yes, I was told she was very polite.

Most of the time. She's good about saying 'thank you' or 'please' w/out prompting (although sometimes the 'please' sounds more like a demand). She says 'excuse me' when she has to get through somewhere and I'm in the way.

Yes, she just turned 2 and says thank you most I the time without being prompted. We're working on "please" now

Yes she's very polite... Please, thank you, you're welcome, and God bless you when someone sneezes or coughs
