My lo could care less about dressing herself. It's so much easier for me this way, too! I have friend with kids who are adamant that they get dressed by themselves. though.

Nope! She would prefer to be naked all day.
If I don't get her dressed by nine she will fight tooth and nail to stay naked.

Yes and she wants to undress herself too. Very independent these days. Shirts with buttons take forever.. I just leave the room and come back!

@oliviaoblivia: snap!
Unless it's got Anna and Elsa on it, naked is preferable

Yup, DD wants to do everything herself. If I even try to help her get dressed she gets pissed. Luckily she's pretty fast at getting dressed now.

@oliviaoblivia: @travelgirl1: A is the same way. Now that it's cool, I'm putting my LOs in long sleeves and pants and Alice hatessss it. She's getting pretty good at undressing herself these days, including removing her diaper.

My son wants to pick his own clothes, but it's ok if I put them on him. The problem is that he only wants to wear "boo (blue) shirt". The solution is that he doesn't actually understand what blue IS, so if I say "Do you want to wear this red shirt or this green shirt?" he says "No, BOO SHIRT!" but if I just say "Do you want to wear this shirt?" and offer him a red or a green he picks one, says "Yay, boo shirt!" and I can get away with it.
