My LO watched 10 minutes of an episode today and asked me why Daniel wasn't wearing pants.

Big fan over here. LO started watching it before it premiered on tv. It was available for preview on the app, and he loved it from the start. Took a while to convince me though. The show teaches some great lessons.

I love it more than any other kid shows because it teaches so many age appropriate lessons.

I'd like to know why Daniel wears pajama bottoms but not regular pants.
Katarina is a whiny brat. I can't stand her. Chloe has started whining and I blame the damn cat.

When he watches anything lately (once every couple of days) it's Daniel tiger! He loves it and I like it much better than Thomas (which he was watching before). I'm also a nerd and I like noticing the similarities between it and Mr. Rogers lol.

We have just discovered Daniel Tiger recently and he is very good at getting DD to do things. This morning's episode was about going potty and what do you know, within minutes DD asked to go potty (even though she didn't have to) and insisted on washing her hands afterwards.

DD has been very much into Daniel Tiger lately! We have a long commute to and from her daycare drop-off and sometimes she gets restless, so I pull it up on my phone either via PBS app or Netflix. I like it more than some of the other shows because it teaches some great lessons that DD has caught on to.

@Rubies: same. I've caught Chloe playing with dolls in the bathroom of her dollhouse, and she says "flush! Wash! Away!!" (Daniel says flush and wash and be on your way!")
It makes me giggle every time.

Daniel Tiger is the only thing LO watches in our house. (My parents let him watch other stuff at their place, like Thomas and Mickey Mouse). I love Daniel Tiger- it's perfect for LO's development phase and I think it is sincerely helpful for us in helping LO with things like sharing and potty training and preparing for doctor visits and trying new food.
Aaaaaand now I also have the theme song in my head. -
@autumnlove: yes to the pants question! Have you noticed that mrs. tiger always wears pants, but Mr. Tiger never does? What's up with that; only ladies have to wear pants but not the guys?!
LO watches it sometimes. I like the messages in the show, but that character that always answers everything with "meow meow this and meow meow that" grates on my nerves.
