Or do you have to send a snack for them? I'm not positive yet but I think I heard my LO's preschool will be providing the snack. I'm curious what types of things they would provide. It will be nice to not have to worry about sending something though.

Yes, we send lunch and the school provides a morning and afternoon snack. I happened to take a pic of this week's menu which includes: waffles + jam, seaweed and cheese sticks, rice rollers (whatever that is!), pirate's booty and red bell peppers, cereal and almond milk, refried beans and tortilla chips, tortilla w/cream cheese, ice pops and crackers, trail mix.

Yes, cheese, fruit, crackers, yogurt, applesauce, veggie sticks. Nothing too junky except on party days!

Each parent takes a turn providing a snack. They provide lunch and I'm jealous of their menu. She eats better than I do.

Yes. She's only there for 3 hrs but they provide a snack of fruit, veggies, and a whole grain, along with milk. I'm happy with that!

Yes thank goodness! All food provided. A few weeks ago they made homemade strawberry jam! How adorable. And they have a little garden they eat from.

Yes, they provide a snack. It's usually fruit, grain (crackers, pretzels, etc), and dairy (cheese). Most snacks are individually packaged and sealed, which is nice. I always bring a back up snack due to LO's allergies.

Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided. It varies and is mostly healthy. Most schools here provided terrible food.

Yes - they provided a morning snack. Usually veggie straws, goldfish, or crackers. For after care, they would give another similar snack. I wasn't thrilled with the nutritional quality but liked that I didn't have to send a snack in addition to lunch!

They provide snacks, it's an allergy sensitive school so I assume on par with what I would like for Ds to have while he's there. We will be sending lunch w him, per school policy.
