Haha yup! There's a pair of boxers where there's a hole in on the front leg. He just wears them backwards. Out of sight, out of mind perhaps.

Yes. I have purchased him new undies and he'll tell me had plenty. I should probably just put them in his drawer.

He tries--and he keeps holey socks! I go through his drawers every month or two and throw them out!

yes. it drives me crazy. But he's been losing weight and slowly letting go of his holey clothing.

How is this such a common problem. Do men LIKE having holes in their underwear?

Men don't like it... but why does it matter? Nobody ever sees your underwear. Might as well save your money for stuff that matters!

@mrbee: hahaha! It does matter. I doubt my husband would like to see me in saggy, holey, granny panties all the time and this is the equivalent! A new, clean, fresh, tight pair of man undies is hawt.

DH throws out some, but he normally waits for me to ask if he needs new stuff. He's gotten really good about tossing holey socks though.

Yes! And he will buy more but not throw out the old ones. So then he drawer is stuffed. Same with socks. I just went through and tossed a bunch of holey socks. Shhhh don't tell him.

Yes. And socks. OMG, the socks. He wears the heals through and then turns them over and wears them out upside down too. ACK! I have a conniption just thinking about it. I'm slowly breaking him of it though by tossing holey socks and undies as I find them in the laundry.

@MamaMoose: OMG we use the same move!! lol! I have a pack of HIS underware in my drawer and whenever I see a grodie pair they get tossed and I put a new pair in his drawer. It took him 2 years to figure out what I was doing. Sigh.

He does and I toss it. Let it be known that DH is in his mid-30s and his mother STILL buys his underwear. Every time we go visit, she leaves a few new ones in his childhood bedroom. I feel like it is an area where I am not allowed to tread.

my husband keeps his see through underware. I just threw out the ones that the elastic stop being stretchy. I think he had those before we met!

Yes, socks too. But I do the laundry, so I rip bigger holes and toss them so they won't find their way back onto the rotation.
