@Bookish: Yep! Everyone has decorations up. We had a Halloween party on Sunday.

A lot do! We have a graveyard in our front yard.

A house a few blocks over goes ALL.OUT for halloween and Christmas. Every time we drive past I comment on what their electric bill must be.

This year they have 15 blow-up Halloween things in their yard, a graveyard and a 20' spider hanging from their house. And everything is lit up!

Only some! I actually just decorated yesterday - oops!

I've got pumpkin pathway stake lights, Orange candy corn lights bordering our picture window. And two pumpkins we'll likely carve tonight. Gotta find my battery operated tea lights!

Heading to rite Aid tomorrow at lunch to hopefully score some clearance decor items!

Most people have at least their pumpkins on the porch. We actually didn't decorate except for our carved pumpkins and some window decals. Maybe next year we'll do something more elaborate.

@Bookish: I would go on or day after!!! Last year I went week after and there was like nothing left at Target.

Mine are kind of like the first pic but a bit darker red. we have some on either side of our steps in wine barrel looking planters

We live in a newish neighborhood and the first year we lived there we were one of only a few that decorated. But as more houses have been built, people start having kids, and the babies are getting older, we are getting more and more people that decorate. Trick-or-treaters have also been steadily increasing every year.

We live on a dead end street and get no trick or treaters, so there's only 1 house that decorates for Halloween. Most everyone does a little Fall decorating, though. Mums, pumpkins, scarecrows, and corn stalks are common.

We currently live in a co-op development and some people decorate but not all. We actually had a Halloween celebration for all of the kids yesterday and that was really cute.

Very few people decorate. We don't have a lot of kids and most of our neighbors are older, plus the neighborhood isn't well lit.

@Bookish: You're welcome to come hand out candy at my house! It is nonstop. Every year I buy more and more candy and always manage to run out.

@Sadieloo: @spaniellove: I wish my neighborhood is like yours!!! We barely got any last year. Hopefully it's because it was our first year.

We saw this today as we were driving around our neighbourhood. I'm hoping it's a leftover Halloween decoration......

Our neighborhood is a mix. We didn't decorate at all...it just wasn't feasible with LO wanting to be held constantly and DH working as much as he does. Some houses have fall-ish decor like pumpkins, bales of hay, scarecrows, etc. And then you have the house across the street from us, who cover their whole front yard with tombstones and cobwebs and pass out candy right outside their garage, where they have a fog machine, strobe lights, a guy with a chainsaw, etc.
