I'm starting to think about our halloween costumes. I love doing family style ones, but the past few years I've been slackin.
SOOOO, I can't decide on my two current ideas. HELP.

If he's the hobbit, DH can either be another hobbit, or Aragorn. I could... be Arwen? or another hobbit? we could be a hobbit family? I mean... it wouldn't be a big stretch of the imagination...

@.twist.: HOBBIT! I am a huge nerd & love LOTR, but I mean LOOK AT THAT PICTURE. You could for sure be Arwen. And your hottie husband as Aragorn... stop. I also love the idea of a hobbit family. I'd love to see you all with hairy feet.

HOBBIT! I think every family does Star Wars at some point. LOTR is a much more original idea.

Girl after my own heart!! We did a spur of the moment (literally the day of) family themed Halloween costume. I absolutely loved it and hope to continue that so I'm totally spying on what you have in mind because I don't know what to do this year!
I haven't seen nor know much about LOTR, but DS has a suit that is similar to the picture you posted that I could chop off the pants to match and a cape would be easy enough to make, but I like Star Wars better!

WELL. I am so conflicted. Some of you make great arguments for a Hobbit, but Star Wars is dominating the Poll!
I don't think I have DH convinced to do family themed costumes this year.
He has been dying to perfect a Wolverine costume for years and he says now that he has a few months with no major obligations coming up (wedding, babies), he wants to focus on that! WAH. haha How could he be so selfish?? 
So, that leaves just me and L to theme it up. Not sure what to do now!

Yes, definitely search Pinterest for some ideas! Or just look at some online Halloween costume stores in the baby section! Not sure if you have the same ones there as in the US, but in the US I like to look at Partycity.com and buycostumes.com
