Better than you sometimes? I will have to ask my 3 year old if she understood what my two year old said, and more than half the time she's spot on. I'm glad I have her to translate for me sometimes!

My second LO is still too young to talk, but when I was teaching, I had twins in my class. One of them was delayed, and I couldn't understand what he was saying. His first grade teacher had told me that his brother could always understand, so while I felt bad about it, I would ask his brother. Finally, brother told me "he's not really saying anything." I looked at the kid and he had the best "haha, fooled you" look on his face. It was adorable. When he started special ed, he did the same thing to his special ed teacher. When he was actually trying to talk, I could understand him most of the time.
