If DH is doing the dishes and there are pump parts on the sink, he'll take them apart and wash them. He even knows not to put the membranes in the dish-washer.
Does your SO help clean pump parts?

No, I rarely used mine so whenever it was there he was just at a loss. I didn't mind though. At least he was doing the dishes.

Nope. It's one of my few pet peeves. The feeding's already my job with ebf, so it seems like that'd be something he could help with. Then again, I've never asked, so I can't be too cranky.

@MaisyMay: He helps, but a few times I've noticed a funky milk smell so I prefer to wash them now because I do a more thorough job.

@mrsjazz: I've had to point out about cleaning the lip on the membranes (Medela Freestyle) otherwise he misses that spot.

Great q! He does sometimes, bottles too. I really appreciate it when he offers.

nope. and not the bottles either. my mom does it when i don't.

NO... i do all the bottles & pump parts. DH is not a good dish-washer, so I don't trust him to clean them thoroughly.
if he ever washes dishes by hand there is always food left on them - ANNOYING.

Yes, and my mom does too sometimes if she's washing LO's bottles (she takes care of him while we work).

Since I exclusively pumped, I always had pump parts that needed to be washed. DH would help, but it was just easier to do it myself. He dreaded washing the parts.

Yep, and he loads up my pump bag for work in the morning too.

Nope, but then he rarely does the dishes...he does clean toilets though, so I shouldn't complain!

I just do them real quick when I put the milk up. I am sure he would if I left them out or when I go back to work.

Nope, DH works 65h a week and I wash dishes so I always did it. I can't say I'd trust anyone but myself to do it anyways:/

Yup, he washes them when he washes the bottles.

Sometimes - he used to wash all the bottles and pump parts every night but he's been working longer hours lately so I've been doing them while LO eats dinner.

Only a handful of times. *sigh* but he will if I ask. I just don't like to nag!
