If it does why did you pick it? I have a Ballistic case on my phone because I'm a stuff wrecker and it's good for up to a 10 foot drop. That is doubly good because sometimes DD gets her hands on it and drops it! What kind of cover/case did you pick? Did you choose it for looks or function?

I have a speck case. I'd ordered like 3 before this one that were cuter, but they just felt like they were too flimsy to provide any protection. The speck cases are boring but I've dropped my phone like 400 times and it has never gotten hurt… so I think it does its job.

I have a Kate Spade case. It really serves no functional purpose. It's cute though!

I have an Otterbox Defender case for the same reason as you, @prettylizy: because I am a phone breaker! It makes my phone bulkier but it's worth it to avoid a cracked screen or broken phone!

I have an Otterbox because I am a phone breaker too. I've had this phone for 7 months and haven't broke it yet..... I'm pretty sure that's a record.

I also have an otter box - it's 2 shades of pink - I don't love it but it protects my phone! It's been dropped numerous times and not a scratch!

I recently ordered an Otterbox too. It does make the phone look a little bulky, but I would rather not have to deal with a broken phone or cracked screen!

My friends gifted me a Speck case. It's rigid but with padding on the inside. I'm usually pretty good with my phones, but now that I have DS, I do drop it occasionally so the case is a lifesaver!

I have the Note 3 and I have the "flip" cover that is meant for it. It wasn't cheap, but I like that it covers the screen and auto unlocks it when it opens. It wouldn't really protect from a fall, but I can count the number of times I dropped my last phone on one hand.

I chose it for style and price, it wil not protect the phone in a fall! However, knock on wood, i've never broken a screen on my iphone and I've had them for over 5 years.

i have a pong iphone case. it reduces radiation by over 90% or something like that. definitely got it for function because i thought it would be safer for the kids, but it doesn't look bad! this is my second one and it protects well.

I have an otterbox commuter case on my Galaxy phone. It's bulky but it does the trick. No broken phones, please!

I went for looks and function. I wanted one totally lined with rubber, because I think it cushions better when the phone falls. So mine has two parts -- a pink rubbery part and then a floral plastic part that goes over that.

I have 2 covers; one that looks like an old payphone and one that looks like an old book. The book one is nice because you can also slip credit cards inside, so it's good for a night out when you don't want to bring a purse.

I had a lifeproof case on forever, and I got a cow print one for Christmas and I broke my screen because of it

I have a puregear for my galaxy s3; provide some protection is plain but isn't too bulky. I wish they made cuter cases for the galaxy phones. I see so many iphone cases I like but then the galaxy version is crummy looking.

I have a Griffin case, it's either the Destroyer or Survivor. I got it because it also has a protective screen so my son can't wreck my i phone.

J is obsessed with my phone. I just got an Otterbox. One of my best friends ran over her phone with her MDX in an Otterbox twice and it didn't break.
