No, the opposite. Not with the TV since we hardly ever watch, but if I leave a room for a second, he's turned off the lights. Very eco, but it drives me nuts.

Mine leaves it on every morning. He will watch the news before work and then leaves afterI get out of the shower. I have to turn the TV off every morning because he never does.

He turns off the tv, but he leaves milk out. That drives me crazy!

We solved that by not having a TV! Still sometimes we forget to shut NPR off when we go for a walk

We only have one TV and my DH is pretty good about turning it off. The thing that bothers me more is when he turns the volume way down on a show I'm watching or mutes the commercials and forgets to unmute when the show comes back on while I'm making dinner. The remote doesn't work from the kitchen (it's a pass-through and I can see the TV). It's fine for whoever is sitting out in the living room and can hear the show on low volume or can entertain themselves some other way by reading if it's on mute, but for me the TV is my only entertainment while in the kitchen so it's really annoying.

My husband is a tightwad so he turns off all electronic devices whenever possible to save money. I'm actually the one that leaves lights on in our rooms and he gets mad at me. haha.

I'm the one guilty of never turning off the tv. Usually I pause it thinking ill get right back to it, leave the room, and forget about it.

He turns it off if we're leaving the house, but he'll leave it on at times, but it doesnt drive me nuts. But then, we currentlylive n a 1 fl apt, so its no big deal shutting it off...What drives me nuts is how he leaves the toilet seat up!!!

I do this all the time, and my husband HATES it! Usually, I'm watching the news at night, right before we go upstairs to put DD to bed. I'll leave the tv on, and then my husband will catch me when comes back downstairs later in the night to let the dogs out. Oops!

My DH likes to leave both TVs on and sometimes watching the same exact thing! I hate being in the office and hearing the TV on in the background... or even worse is when he has a movie on and when it's done playing, the menu screen will repeat itself. It annoys me so I have to get up and turn it off myself. I have complained but then he'll comment that I forget to turn the lights off when I leave a room. Which I do do.
