I think there is something wrong with DH...he told me that I should order some clothes online for LO because she is getting too big for some of the 9 month and 12 month sizes. He must have a fever....

Yes. Especially if I haven't had any time for myself lately.... He basically kicked me out of the house when I desperately needed some jeans, and almost every weeks when he's off he'll tell me to go get *something* by myself.

Yes- for more maternity clothes! I only bought a few staples and prefer to wear his shirts and no pants when lounging in the house. His shirts have started not to cover my belly and he can't understand why I don't want to get more clothes that fit!

Yep! Last night I made a goodwill pile of all the clothes I never wear and DH was very concerned about me needing to buy new clothes since my closet was looking pretty bare haha

He always tries to make me go buy things for myself, since I spend my 'fun money' budget on the baby every month.

Yep. For some reason, I have a really hard time buying clothes for myself, so he's always encouraging me to go buy them.

Haha only when I cry about nothing looking good/fitting right, he will say just go buy something that you feel good in.

All the time. DH hates my casual clothes. He likes the stuff I used to wear when I was smaller.

No way! And I do all his shopping too since he won't set foot in a store or order anything online so he won't even tell me to shop when it's for him! He'll complain about not having any work shirts then when I go to buy some he gets all upset that I spent money!

Pretty frequently. He feels like I never buy anything for myself so he always encourages me to go shopping.

All the time! I'm really cheap and don't shop for myself ever. I still rock some shoes and shirts from like HS/college!

Haha no... I do it enough on my own :). He has never told me to stop or slow down either.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Haha yes. He'll do a Tom Haverford voice and say to "treat yo'self"

Yes - not necessarily just for shopping but whenever I've had a bad/stressful week he tells me to call my salon and make an appointment for a massage/nails/hair/facial and that he'll treat. He's a keeper!

Haha -no! I'm always the one telling him to go shopping, to which he always replies, "what do I need?" So I just tell him that since he's not going, I'll just spend the money that he would have spent on myself instead.

Yeah, I really hate buying things for myself. I usually pick something up, carry it around for a bit, then put it back DH has started to take things out of my hands and force me to buy them haha

NEVER! However, he has been more forgiving since I've lost weight and he sees that most of my clothes are too big. Same with shopping for Liam. Shopping is one of my favorite things to do (I shop at very inexpensive places, though).

haha I wish! I don't need to be told to shop I'd think there was something quite wrong with him if he told me too. Although, I would be pretty happy!

Yep! He's always telling me to go buy more clothes. I complain about not having anything to wear!
