DH never wants to talk about work when he gets home...he just wants to interact with LO! He might tell me more later in the day...if he went to any interesting Code Blues or Pinks and funny stories about his coworkers!

not really because his work is pretty boring
but he will talk about work sometimes.
I was the one who used to come home and give him the play by plays! work days are always interesting in the medical field... so many stories and drama!

He has been talking about it a lot lately. It's been stressful few weeks for him.

No, we're very opposite in that. I love to come home and tell everyyythinnggg that happened, while he'll just shrug and say his day was ok

Usually yes, at least a recap. He always wants to hear a play by play of our day though more.

We never talk work....The only time he mentions it is when he has a schedule change...

I have to pull info from him, but it's mostly because I've been on leave and miss hearing about what's going on where we work. I go back on Monday, then the challenge will be for us to NOT talk about work at home.

My husband goes on and on about work. He loves it, though, and I'm happy that he works so hard to take care of us. I just sit and listen and give him the feedback he's looking for.

For the most part he is pretty reserved about work. More recently has he started to open up more and share about this day. They sold the company and are in the process of restructuring right now so it's a little more excited & nerve racking for him. He mostly discusses business with me.

Every time he walks through the door, we start with the 'How was your day?' He generally goes into detail about some engine or other or a problem he found interesting. He might delve into a bit of office politics but then he'll wrap it up. Probably because after a few minutes, I start to feel my eyes glaze over! Then it's LO, supper, and family.

No
his job is confidential. Sometimes he will share antics about his coworkers, but the majority of his time he's doing the confidential stuff.
He loves hearing about my day. By the time he gets home, I am so over my day.

I always ask about his day over dinner, and he'll give me highlights ("I had to issue this many errors, this was my trivia question of the day, I had to stay so late because this person made this mistake and I had to fix it...")

He tells me pretty much nothing. He works in computers and I assume it's all pretty boring so I don't blame him.

Uh he constantly bitches about the office drama. I have to remind him to let it go and enjoy his time with his family while he's home with us!

After a lot of grumbles, he'll tell how it was. If it's a bad day, he'll speak more freely on it.

DH loves his job and he tells me everything. He is deep in business so he's always eager to share good news;) & eager to bitch about his new hires or whatever. I know his employees so I can usually keep up.
My job (social work) is much more private and protected by law so I share much less. It's depressing as well! Right now I don't work though.

He gives a nice recap... it's usually one or two highlights; like if a student disrupted his class, if he has some type of new assignment, schedule changes for the next quarter, new hires, workload etc.... Not a ton but just one or two little things each day. Of course he likes to hear a lot about my day since it involves all the things Cobi does haha.
