Mr. Jacks berated me for totally getting into bentos from the blog. Now he's like, "Did you favorite that one?" or "We should get that tool."
Yup, HB is even sucking the guys in!

We were just talking about that last night. He told me he occasionally comes on and reads what I've replied to lately to see what is interesting me since we have similar tastes.

Nope, but I fill him in anytime a stat or topic I think he should read comes up!

I tell him about things that I read or learned and then if he's nearby, I'll say, "Hey, come read this!"

Nah. I think he is more than happy to just have me share bits and pieces that I think he'll be most interested in.
@Mrs. Jacks: I'm hoping DH will come around! I sent him a bunch of bento posts and explained that bentos are awesome and we NEEDED to do this and he was, um, less than convinced.

@Lozza: If it helps, Lala only ate about 1/3 to 1/2 of her lunch during the first week or so of school. When I switched to bento style she's been eating 100%. Her teachers really think that bento was the difference and they were asking us more about it
I mean who would turn down a cheese star or flower?

I will often say "read this!" or else just crack up laughing out loud and he asks what's so funny, so then I read him the posts.
A lot of the threads I start are "joint efforts" - he's just as interested in the replies as me! He is the one that LOVES polls, he always follows my polls.
I was on WB during my pregnancy and we had a few baby name polls when he and I were at odds and he followed them religiously lol
I think he appreciates hellobee. He doesn't complain on me being on hellobee like he used to complain about me being on pinterest.

@Mrs. Jacks: DH thinks Bentos are totally cool! And I was pinning all the little tools and stuff. He got so excited for DS to get to preschool so we can make him cute lunches lol!!

Nope, but I do share info with him if I think he'd be interested in knowing.

@Mrs. Jacks: charlie hated food that involved chewing and favored soups/soft foods. bentos are what really helped him make the transition! (although he does still love soups)
needless to say i'm a big bento fan not just for the cute factor!

@Mrs. Bee: The other factor that Lala's teachers mentioned is that bentos provide small tastes of multiple foods. With high variety and small portions of each thing, the kids are so much more likely to eat!
Edited to add: Didn't mean to thread jack!

He doesn't read it or ask about it but I fill him in on interesting things I read and he appreciates it!

No, but I keep him up to date, just like I did on WB...he asks about specific bees I talk about...apparently a lot since he knows their names, lol.
