haha, yes! Whenever Xander doesn't get his way or is frustrated about something, he tries to just flop down on the floor and freak out. It's usually when I'm setting him down, so I just lower him to the floor gently and let him freak out for a bit. After a couple of minutes of ignoring him, he usually calms down a little and then I'll pick him up and reassure him that I love him but he can't have/do whatever he wants all the time.

Honestly, if talking it out doesn't work, I still put her clothes on. It was the only way she learned that I meant what I said. She still has tantrums, but they aren't as long now.

Yep! She throws herself on the ground and rolls around crying. Or if I put her down from holding her, she lays down and hits her head on the hardwoods.

Every morning with the pj top. She doesn't want me to take it off. I take it off. She doesn't want me to put her shirt on. I get it on, after a struggle. It's a battle every.single.morning.

oh yes. olive's default is to lay on the ground and start rolling around. luckily it usually doesn't last too long and she asks to be picked up and then calms down. but yes it happens often!

I had one of those this morning. He didn't want me to get him dressed. Sometimes, I tickle him to get him out of the funk. It's about a 50/50 chance of it working.
