Trying to hold my toddler's hand is pretty much the most offensive thing in his eyes

It is hit and miss. She would rather just take off running.

She will only hold my hand when walking down a slope, like a driveway. Otherwise ain't no one gonna tie down that child!

My son, no way but my daughter will. I think it is so cute.

LO generally likes to hold my hand, although sometimes she will snatch her hand back and declare "Eleanor do it!!!!" and glare at me. I instituted the "must hold hands with mama in public rule", which she mostly follows.

When she is stressed or tired, she always needs to hold my hands. And at night when she sleeps she LOVES holding my hand. It's really closer to an obsession than a love, she wakes me up sometimes in the middle of the night going "hands, where are you hands?"

DD is 17 months and likes holding my hand. She likes it even more when I carry her. Even though she can walk perfectly fine on her own, she likes it when I carry her. I swear her favorite word right now is Up! Up! Up!
