My 3.5 DS hates getting his hair washed. We let it grow longer in the summer since he had such pretty curls. Can you recommend a conditioner to help? Maybe something that doesn't sting the eyes?

We have to use conditioner on my daughter's hair or else it is impossible to brush (really long and fine). For a while we were using adult conditioner because the California Baby stuff wasn't cutting it any more. We now use Honest Company and it works better than adult conditioner on her hair! And when we forget to use conditioner, messy bun it is.

My daughters the same as @Becky: really fine long hair that is just a rats nest in the morning if we don't use conditioner. I just use a tiny bit of Pantene that I sue on my hair. We also use Honest company's spray detangler.

I use Shea Moisture mango and carrot extra nourishing conditioner on DD's curls. We skip shampoo most days so the curls don't dry out and use a little of this. Also, grab a spray bottle and wet brush to fix curls in the morning (if you bathe at night).

I've been using carols daughter spray conditioner from target - easier because you do it after and I only do the bottom half where she needs it. It's something like black vanilla scent. It was about $9 but is lasting a long time since I don't use much.

@bhbee: @travellingbee: So spray on you don't need to wash off? I thought I need to get detangler for her~

@snowjewelz: yes leave in! It's so easy and works to detangle as well. I use it myself occasionally if my ends are bad.

@bhbee: Ahh this is so perfect bc my ends have been a mess since I recently colored my hair!

@snowjewelz: I think it will help! I condition as usual in the shower and then use leave in on the ends as needed.

Shea Moisture here as well. I have a 4.5 year old who has crazy curly hair, and we use this:

We just shampoo and use the Honest spray detangler when blow drying her hair. We love it.
