Ugh, finally put the baby down and toddler girl starts screaming and woke her back up.

@mediagirl: are they jealous? DD1 was definitely jealous last night so she purposefully woke the baby up.

DD doesn't wake up DS, but sometimes he wakes her up! When he cries in the middle of the night she yells from her room, "stop crying! I'm trying to sleep!" Lol!

Actually, she sleeps through all of my sons whining and screaming. I think we're very lucky she's able to do that. We purposely never put a white notice machine in her room because we wanted her to get used to the noises. The only time he has ever woken her up was on a flight.

He used to. Now I just ask him to whisper when we walk downstairs past his little brothers room. Occasionally, he'll walk loud in purpose just to annoy me!

Yes they wake each other up every now and then. And of course the baby falls back asleep on her own just fine while the 3 year old needs a full-on therapy session, trip to the potty, drink of water, etc etc etc to settle back down and go back to sleep.

Yep. Dd loves to scream. Happy loud screams that often wake her brother up.

My DD doesn't wake up my son but my son will wake her up. Everytime my DD hears my son cry, she automatically starts crying. It's so weird. She can be in a super deep sleep and she can hear him crying very faintly for a few secs and she'll start wailing. Fun times.

@banana: I think that happened this morning. I didn't even hear the cry myself. Like they have a sixth sense connection already. Yawn. So tired.

@Andrea: It's totally like they have a sixth sense! The second my son makes a whimper, DD starts pouting her bottom lip. My son ran into my room this morning shouting "umma! umma!" and totally woke her up again.

@banana: they are banding together to torture us already!

@Andrea: LOL! We used to outnumber them (2 adults vs 1 kid) but now it's 2 on 2! And when DH isn't around...2 on 1? oh my.

If only it stopped at toddlerhood!
G is 8 and he woke P up numerous times in the beginning.... it would never fail, he'd sit quietly drawing or something while I nursed her... no sooner than she'd fall asleep he'd remember something a go "GASP.. mom guess what?!" and wake her up.
Seriously never failed!

Yes but it is more of the "hey you're sleeping so let's poke you kind of waking up".
