LO follows me from room to room. I try to hide and scare her but she can't be tricked.

Yup! Still does at 2.5 except when she watches TV.

My daughter is VERY attached to me. It is lovely and overwhelming.

We're not there yet, but a friend of ours has a 2.5 year old daughter that she calls her "shadow."

She does! Sometimes, I'll back up, not knowing she's right behind me and knock her over.

No. She has a mind of her own and wanders where she wants. I wish she followed me.... Now I have to follow her. I go to pick something up and she'll go to the other room and start climbing on couches. I can never get anything done because I'm always chasing her around!

Ummm, I wish she would just follow me around but lately she wants me to CARRY her around! Its such a pain when I am trying to gather stuff up in the morning to leave!
