If so, when did it fill in? LO has so much hair, but then he has this big bald spot in the back! He's finally starting to get some peach fuzz back there at 7 months.

DD does. She's 3 months. And she has a patch right below that is long over her neck. Yes, my daughter has a mullet.

Yes! She's almost 6 months old and has had it awhile. She's sleeping on her stomach now, so I've noticed some little hairs starting to grow in, but it's still really obvious.

She had a little bit of one. Probably 6 months her really started to fill in.

around 7 months it started to grow back. now at 15 months, its all in and no sign of a bald patch at all!

Yup! I don't really remember when it filled in (want to say 6 months), but you can't tell at all now (13.5 months).

DS1 had a big one from rubbing his head to fall asleep. We shaved his head at 7 months and after that it was fine

Yep, dd had a big one! She's been sleeping on her tummy for a couple months now and it's almost totally gone (she's 9 mos).

B has the funniest bald spot. She "shakes" her head no when she's falling asleep.. so her bald spot kinda wraps around one side. It's pretty bad but I laugh when I see it on videos of her. In the last few weeks her hair has grown a lot so it's starting to get covered when I brush her hair down. ( she's 6 months )

@MapleMoose: mine too!! The patch of hair at her neck isn't only long but it's so thick (& gorgeous really) I can't wait for that to be the case for her entire head!

Yep. She doesn't have much hair to begin with, but that spot is definitely balder than the rest.
She only likes to be held facing OUT, so DH says it's there for him to have a spot to kiss.

@Sapphiresun: aww that's so cute!
I'm glad people are saying their LO's patch started to fill in around 7/8 months. I guess we don't have too much longer to wait, though it does feel like it's getting worse and spreading around the sides of her head at the moment!

Yes, still at almost 8 months! She's a back sleeper and like some PP she shakes her head when falling back to sleep so she keeps rubbing it all off. I hope her hair fills in soon.

She did and it only started filling it once she stopped rolling onto her back and staying there, around month 5. I don't even notice it anymore, now that she's almost 10 months old

Yup, she did. It started to fill in around 8-9 months, and now at 12 months, it's completely covered.

Yup. I'm surprised it's still there, because she really spent hardly any time on her back early on (given that she never slept laying down!) and she has been sleeping on her tummy for over a month.
She does the rubbing her head back and forth thing before falling asleep, but since she sleeps on her tummy, she's rubbing her face on the sheet. Her little nose is so red and dry. I put Aquaphor on it, but it doesn't seem to help much.

My LO also rubs his head into the crib mattress while falling asleep! So funny that so many other babies do that too.
