DS was born with black hair from DH and subtle brown highlights from me. I'm curious to see how this will change as he gets older. I have no idea how common this is, and I've never stared at a baby's hair up close. Did your LO have highlights, and what does it look like now?

LO does – my husband’s hair is black and mine is red and LO’s was black when she was born with some bronze tips. Now, it’s lightened up some and is mostly brown but has some definite red highlights and bronze/copper still on the tips. I’m intrigued to see how it ends up!

Yes! Our LO had highlights from the second she came out of the womb (with a full head of hair). We joked that she got her hair foiled for the occassion. haha. It is a medium-dark brown with golden highlights, which is my natural color.
